The Play

THE PLAY was founded in Copenhagen in 2020 by Philip Price, Nina Gyalokay and Mikkel Skafte, who also founded Reepco Studio. THE PLAY’s philosophy revolves around eternalizing legendary moments in the world of sports by converting them into unique pieces of art posters to hang on the wall in the homes of sports fans all over the world.

When THE PLAY launched, we needed a solid and reliable e-commerce platform to market their products. Their brand required a webshop that not only served as a pick-and-checkout tool, but also allowed them to showcase their exciting collaborations with various athletes and sports teams of various genres of sports including e-sports. Additionally, they needed a team to manage and create content for their social media platform.

We built THE PLAY a solid e-commerce platform based on Shopify, that allowed them to showcase their products and all of their individual variations and sizes, while also serving as a platform for sharing their exciting partnerships and collaborations. The result is a smooth and reliable webshop coupled with an elegant and immersive fan experience. Meanwhile, we have assisted THE PLAY in content creation within partnerships such as DBU, Lyngby Boldklub and Danish E-sports giants Astralis.
